How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Start Living

I was at the gym trying on yoga clothes and pants for the first time in my life. I didn’ t even recognize myself in the mirror. I looked like I had just woken up from a coma. I realized I had been so caught up in my worry that I hadn’t taken time to move past it.

I believe that when we worry about the unknown or the impossible, that’s where our mind goes. By living more fully and unapologetically, you help yourself move past worry. If we’re in a bad mood, we just want the opposite of the negative — that is, to just get through the day.

If you want to help yourself move through things more effectively, the first step to help your brain let go of worry is by taking time to relax. I’m talking about taking time out from your todo list, taking time out from making a ton of changes in your life, taking time out from whatever your current focus is. You want to get the full experience of life, and you want to experience it from the inside-out.

For the past couple months, I have spent time living the rest of my life on an island far removed from the pressures of everyday life. I live as a sort of meditative monk, where I enjoy the quiet and nature and don’t deal with the stresses of everyday life. I have become a person who makes friends with the birds on a daily basis, but I’m not the one who feeds the birds.

Most people have been scared of change that seems difficult, because if there is not the fear of change, then there is nowhere to go. When you learn something that seems to go against the way things are, you fear it, and this fear of change comes up again. However, you are constantly learning, and you are continually being pushed down to meet that challenge. When we get stuck working against those fears of change, we lose more than we have gained — we become complacent and get lazy, we fall back into old ways of thinking.

I’m just one person, and so I will not have a clear path to take. It’s not my body that suffers; my body can only tolerate so much change in my mood. Every single day, I look around at every single other human being, and I can see how everyone gets through the day. They have challenges along the way that challenge them — like getting through high school, for example — but no one is scared or frustrated.

So, in order to move through your problems better, you will have to allow yourself to see the solutions for yourself. Don’t beat yourself up over the obstacles, make it your goal to learn from those that make life easier for you.

The best way to do this is to take the time away and look for the answers. Learn from your obstacles, look beyond the obvious, and see why it has become harder over time. If your brain wants to work against change instead of with it, then work around the problem, and don’t worry about the changes that come afterwards.

It’s time for all of us to start living more. It’s time to take a new, more exciting path. We need to stop worrying at the outside of life, and start living at the inside.
