How I Met Your Mother

I think I started as an idealistic teenager trying to understand the world, the people living in it and the circumstances in which we lived. Eventually, I came to appreciate my place in it, and eventually, I lost interest in the details, I just wanted to know and connect. In my early teens, I was often a target of bullying. I could have been a victim of the same thing that I was trying to understand. I didn’t start out as a target of the same bullies, but my parents were a little too focused on keeping me from the rough parts of my life, the bullying and my feelings of isolation and inadequacy.
