How To Be A Healthy Dieter

Healthy choices are the first key to a fulfilling life. When we eat well, we tend to feel better, live longer and are less likely to suffer the health consequences of poor nutrition.

Achieving a positive weight is one of the key lifestyle steps you can take to ensure you’re healthy and that your life will be worth living. Eat a well-balanced, balanced diet composed of all foods that are good for you, as long as they contain the proper amounts of all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

For this reason, some health experts recommend that you cut down on the total amount of fat you eat and cut back on processed foods and sugary drinks which can cause a spike in your calorie intake and increase your risk of ill health, including coronary heart disease.

I want to be as good as I can within the confines of my health and well-being for my future and my present, but I can’t eat the same, or as much, as I used to. My goal for the next thirty days is to be very aware of how much I eat and cut down if the goal isn’t in-line with my current fitness goals. If I can become more flexible on food choices this may help me achieve a lower body fat while maintaining a better health that includes a more well-rounded, healthier profile.

In order to reach my goal, this is how I’m planning to go:

Start out simple: just eat a balanced diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats and healthy fats. Drink lots of water and low-fat (1%) milk. Avoid all sweetened beverages, and avoid fast food and snack foods! Keep my portions very small, no more than two or three small food choices. This seems like a lot, but with some creativity I can cook on a limited budget. No-cook meals are easy to make and very tasty, especially the yummy oatmeal! It can be one or two ingredients. Keep my meals low-calorie, low-fat, and/or contain healthy fats. Keep up with my body’s metabolism! In short, it’s been more than a year since the last time I had an “off” day that made me feel unhealthy. My energy levels are just about where they should be (calorie-wise) so I’m hopeful that I can keep this up. I’ll be watching my portion sizes, and even if I end up with more than three-fourths of the recommended amount, I’ll keep my portions fairly small for better portion control. I’ll also eat more lightly-cooked food, and make healthy substitutions.

What I’ve learned in my thirty days with the Copy My Workout Plan is that for better-than-ever and healthier lifestyles, follow the 5 A.M. to 8 P.M. exercise schedule with a low-fat and low-sodium/sugar-packed smoothie. This was my first workout plan, and by following the advice and workouts in the program you can increase your fitness, lose fat and build muscle, increase your metabolism, and get more out of your daily workouts.

This is my first time following the schedule but it’s something I’ll be following for the rest of my life and that’s very exciting. The first week of the Copy My Workout Plan taught me that healthy exercise and better-than-ever food choices are keys to a happier, healthier, stronger life.

Thanks for being here and for reading the first chapter of my journey to get stronger, leaner and more physically fit.
