How To Clean An Air Conditioner Without Cuts

Clean with hot soapy water, then a lint-free cloth.

Do you have a new AC? If not, you likely want to buy one soon to freshen-up your home. However, with a new, cluttered, dirty air conditioner, finding what you’re after can be difficult. To fix this, use some water and a non-abrasive cloth to dry off your current unit before you clean it. Then, don’t forget to clean out both the vents and the ducts inside the unit after the unit is dry.

Don’t forget to clean out both the vents and the ducts inside the unit after the unit is dry. Don’t forget to clean out the vents at the top. The exhaust vents can be especially difficult to get to cleanly.

The exhaust vents can be especially difficult to get to cleanly. Don’t forget to clean out the vents at the top. The rear vents on front-loading units can be too large to get to easily.

Clean the fan ducts. If you think the air blowing on you is bad, get rid of it before it gets more bad!

How To Clean And Line Clean An Electric Air Conditioner

1. Remove the fan.

2. Clean the entire air conditioner.

3. Clean the rear vent assembly.

4. Clean the fan and ducts.

5. Line up your air conditioner so that it faces the sun.

6. Use some air conditioner cleaning spray.

7. Clean the air filter at the unit’s air filter.

8. Use some cleaning spray to spray down the air conditioner.

9. Wash the inside of the AC before you start.

Note: If your air conditioner uses a fan to cool air, make sure you remove the fan. There are two ways to remove the fan: 1. Unplug the fan. 2. Remove the fan’s cover. Clean a dirty air conditioner in the shower by using a spray bottle of cleaner from the spray bottle section. You can use any cleaner with a wide spray, not just a cleaner with the hose on top. For example, you could put WD-40 inside the air conditioner and then use it to wipe the inside of the AC for cleanliness. In my opinion, it’s easier and safer to only use WD-40 on the inside of the unit and clean it at the end, than take out the fan. There are more safe and effective ways to remove an air conditioner’s fan than getting the fan off. Clean it later, or after use. I always take out the fan when I’m finished here.

What you should be taking away from this is the following: • Clean Air!

• Be Safe and Secure

• Protect Yourself

• Care for Your Home
