How To Clean Water Cooler Blades, Pots And Coolers-Using A Dish Dishwasher

When it comes to maintaining our water tanks, it’s easy to forget how to properly clean our water coolers.

In addition to washing your dishwasher’s wheels and spout regularly, water pressure is also critical to cleanness-not to mention safety. When you’re done washing your dishwashers, give yours a spray of water and some dish detergent to help wash off the dirt. You can also follow a simple DIY process to clean and sanitize your dishwasher.

Water Tanks

The first thing to look for in your water tank is the proper drainage. Some tanks come with a built-in lid that makes sure the water is poured out to the drain. If you do have a water tank built-in, it will need to have a rubber gasket to be completely sealed after every use. You should always check for leaks around the drain hole.

With all the new tanks in the market that come with built-in water filters, you might think you have no need to clean your tank-but trust us-it does make a huge difference in how well your water is cleaned. One common mistake is forgetting to put the filters on and draining the water-which is easy since they are built right into the tank!

Another tip:

–  Dump out the old water and fill up

–  Re-seal the tank using a water-drip

–  Follow one of the steps above to sanitize your water tank

–  Don’t put anything in your tank if it can’t be cleaned.

With new tanks on the market, you may be tempted to purchase another water-cleaning product, but if you have a large tank (like we do) then you can simply throw out the water-washing products and simply refill your tank.

The reason for a lot of the confusion on keeping our water clean is that  water filters are often sold with new tanks that contain cleaning products. If you have ever bought something like  “Hydra-X”  for your tank, you know how easy it is to lose them! You can make it harder on yourself, however, by taking the time to make sure your cleaning product is actually still working  on your water-  just make sure your pump is running before you refill.

In order to maintain the life of your water filter, clean it regularly using the simple  dishwasher technique .  If you find it necessary, you can also remove the filters and place them in an alternate location to be cleaned later.

Water Pipes

Water pipes-also called plumbing-are another thing on the rise. There are still some that we still use for water, and some people don’t have a problem with them, but many new people are choosing water-pipes for their kitchen range as well. Some things to look for in a water pipe are the following:

–  Dishwasher-ready fittings or a leak seal.

–  Dishwasher-safe materials.

–  Re-seal if necessary after each use, though not essential.

–  Keep the pipe free of anything that can damage the pipes

–  Keep the pipe clean and vacuumed.

–  Use a spray and sanitize

–  Do not use a    pump in the water pipe.

Now, as long as you’ve  taken the time to read what’s written below-you’re already on the right foot to make sure the water pipe is working properly.  It takes minimal effort to maintain your kitchen range and prevent water damage or spills.
