What Would Jesus Do?

You can’t help, but you want to. This simple sentence offers a profound and true reflection of the character of Jesus, and his mission to the world. You can draw a meaningful comparison to your own life at any point in time, and make it real. So, what would Jesus do in the world? To become a servant to all that is, be your own best friend.

I want you all to think of one thing that you do every single day, and it might seem quite ridiculous to you now but it could be huge at any point in time. So why not try to say to yourself: “I want my life to have a purpose!” Why? Because you could, you have a purpose for your life . You know the things you want in life. And then it doesn’t matter what others have achieved or what you don’t have, you have a reason for being alive in the first place. Why not take charge of your life, and make a huge difference in the lives of everyone who comes into your lives? How? By being yourself, as you are, and doing what you’re good at. As always, we’ve got a wonderful array of topics, but you can never run out of things to do while building your personal power and personal authority. You’ve got the authority to choose, and we’re going to help you do it .

Today we’re going to explore how to take charge of your life while still taking a small breath. A moment where you can relax, do what needs to be done, and know you’ve got what it takes. What is the most important thing in your life? Why? There is no right or wrong answer. Take your time, and take care of what you want in life with your mind and heart.

One of you is going to be the President of the U.S. No, don’t worry, it will just be you, your wife, family, friends and co workers. But you’re going to be that president.   So it’s not about you. It’s about the people we invite to be our President, and the future. As you’re in control, as you know your purpose, and who your friends really are, we’re going to help you develop what we’ll call the “J.R.C,” the James Robert Crow Family Leadership Curriculum.

J.R. Crow is the founder of the Leadership Institute , one of the oldest schools of leadership training and education in the nation, and his book,

Unified Leadership , is a classic that every leader should have.   “The unifying theme of Unified Leadership is to develop a leadership ethic, and to cultivate a unity of purpose between the members of a team”

– John DeHaan, former Secretary of Transportation, in Robert J. Crow’s “Unified Leadership” (1997).

So what is the J.R.C? We love it. It gives you the tools that will allow you to not only live your life the best way possible, but as well live as a team . So let’s start by defining J.R.C. and “The team” .

” The J.R.C. is an organizational structure where individuals bring together their strengths to accomplish common tasks”

-Robert Crow’s “Unified Leadership” (1997).

Now, if you are going to be a leader in your own life, you can start by giving your leadership role to someone who can support you in your leadership role. What makes a good leader?  Well, for one, you’re someone who knows how to ask the right questions, and knows when you need to use what you know in a situation, not to take credit for what your team does.  Secondly, you are someone who understands the people and the work that you’re doing, and can work with you to put team work first.  And lastly, you think about who’s leading you, and can help you as best you can to understand the direction you need to be going in. When it comes to leadership, there are three main areas you need to be concerned with . First, you need to learn how to ask the right questions about how to help your team, and what they need , rather than doing everything on your own. It also helps to understand what your team needs in order to succeed in any given situation.
